Steps

1. Open ChatGPT settings (Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Edu). Plus tier doesn't yet expose MCP. We're tracking the rollout.
2. Settings → Connectors → MCP servers → Add. Paste the values.
3. Approve the OAuth scopes. ChatGPT shows a confirmation per scope — read the labels.
4. The tools appear in the tool picker. Pin to the workspace for easy access.

Smoke test

Ask ChatGPT: "Use Hoist Assets to run a PPSR organisation search on ACN 123 456 789 in sandbox." It calls ppsr_search_organisation.

Troubleshooting

• OAuth window doesn't open. Check your default browser is set and pop-ups aren't blocked. On macOS you may need to grant ChatGPT accessibility permissions.
• Tools don't appear after install. Restart the host completely. Some hosts cache the tool list at startup.
• 403 on calls. Re-approve OAuth — the cached token may have expired or had scopes revoked.
